Concepire

Concepire non sempre è facile come potrebbe sembrare. Essere fertili e in perfetta salute non basata. Bisogna avere uno stile di vita sano per regolarizzare il ciclo, calcolare correttamente l’ovulazione e avere rapporti nei giorni più fertili. Per prima cosa, se si vuole aumentare la propria fertilità, bisogna avere una corretta alimentazione, ricca di frutta e verdura. Le vitamine e gli antiossidanti in esse contenute, in particolare la vitamina E e la C, sono infatti fondamentali per garantire la produzione di ovociti e ridurre i radicali liberi. Per quanto riguarda gli uomini, invece, bisogna evitare carenze di vitamina B12, che aiuta ad aumentare il numero di spermatozoi e a migliorarne la motilità, e di zinco, che regola la produzione di testosterone. Per mantenere il buon funzionamento delle ovaie, è molto importante anche fare attività fisica regolare ed evitare il sovrappeso. Attenzione, però, a non esagerare con il dimagrimento, che potrebbe portare a ritardi del ciclo e a cicli anovulatori. Infine, è necessario di non avere infezioni vaginali e ridurre lo stress.

Ovulazione e concepimento

Ovulazione e concepimento sono strettamente collegati. Per concepire, infatti, bisogna avere rapporti completi durante l’ovulazione o nei cinque giorni che la precedono. In un ciclo regolare di 28 giorni l’ovulazione, ovvero il rilascio della cellula uovo da parte dell’ovaio, avviene intorno al quattordicesimo/quindicesimo giorno. I giorni fertili, però, oltre quello dell’ovulazione, sono anche i 5 giorni che la precedono e, in misura minore, i due successivi. Il motivo è molto semplice: l’ovulo espulso dall’ovaio sopravvive circa 24 ore, mentre gli spermatozoi resistono per circa 72-96 ore in vagina dopo il rapporto.

Concepire un figlio

Vediamo ora come avviene il concepimento. Dopo il rapporto, gli spermatozoi maschili dai genitali femminili risalgono verso l’utero attraverso la cervice e raggiungono le tube di Falloppio. Qui, in seguito all’ovulazione, si trova l’ovocita pronto ad essere fecondato. Nelle tube, quindi, avviene il concepimento. Una volta fecondata, la cellula uovo va incontro ad una serie di divisioni cellulari, prima di dirigersi verso l’utero, dove si impianta nell’endometrio. Da questo momento, è possibile notare la comparsa dei primi sintomi di concepimento, come perdite da impianto, nausea e gonfiore al seno.

Concepire una femmina

Avere la certezza di concepire una femmina o un maschio è scientificamente impossibile, tuttavia sul web circolano diversi metodi testati dalle mamme, che a volte sembrano funzionare. Uno di questi è il metodo di Shettles. Come tutte sappiamo, per concepire una femmina l’ovulo deve essere fecondato da uno spermatozoo X. Ora, secondo questo metodo, siccome e gli spermatozoi X sono più grandi, più lenti e resistono più a lungo nell’ambiente vaginale rispetto agli spermatozoi Y, per concepire una bambina è necessario avere rapporti circa 5-6 giorni prima dell’ovulazione, perché quando l’ovocita sarà pronto avranno resistito solo gli spermatozoi X. Anche l’alimentazione sembra influire sulla sopravvivenza degli spermatozoi X, in quanto essi resistono meglio se l’ambiente vaginale è acido. Gli alimenti da consumare in abbondanza sono quelli ricchi di calcio (latte, latticini, legumi, uova, verdure a foglia verde, crostacei, frutta secca), di magnesio (riso e cereali integrali, fagioli, noci, anacardi, piselli, mais) e di rame (fegato, funghi, ostriche, cioccolato fondente, farina di soya, semi di girasole, semi di zucca, pepe, calamari).

Concepire un maschio

Anche per concepire un maschio ci si può affidare al metodo Shettles. Per concepire un figlio maschio l’ovulo deve essere fecondato da spermatozoo Y, che è più piccolo, più veloce e meno resistente all’ambiente vaginale rispetto agli spermatozoi X. Per questo, per ottimizzare le possibilità di concepire un bambino è necessario avere rapporti durante l’ovulazione o nei due giorni immediatamente precedenti. Per quanto riguarda l’alimentazione, per creare un ambiente favorevole agli spermatozoi Y è necessario rendere alcalino il pH vaginale, mangiando alimenti ricchi di potassio (verdure a foglia verde, cereali integrali, succo d’arancia, foglie di menta, semi di girasole, aglio, patate, , frutta secca, albicocche, pesche, banane, pompelmi, arance, mandarini, frutti di bosco, melone, mele, pesche, carne e lievito di birra) e di sodio (merluzzo, sardine, tonno, salmone, frutti di mare, affettati, insaccati, formaggi, pizza, pane). Ovviamente, sono solo teorie prive di basi scientifiche dimostrate, quindi non vi aspettate risultati sicuri!
