Neonato non fa la cacca
Se il neonato non fa la cacca ciò non rappresenta necessariamente una situazione preoccupante! Dobbiamo innanzi tutto capire cosa vuol dire veramente non fare la cacca. Il numero delle evacuazioni di ogni neonato sono differenti, per sua natura specifica e per i diversi fattori che possono influenzarlo.
Dopo la nascita ogni neonato affronta una fase di adattamento. Egli deve, cioè abituarsi alla nuova realtà. Anche il modo in cui soddisfa i suoi bisogni primari cambia. L’ambiente che lo circonda è diverso, meno rassicurante e pieno di mille stimoli diversi. Ora oltre ai suoni e alle luci ovattate, ci sono almeno un paio di persone diverse che si occupano di lui.
Questa situazioni completamente nuova può sottoporlo ad uno stress che a sua volta può interferire anche con il suo intestino.
Stitichezza neonato
Possiamo parlare di stitichezza neonato solo dopo che siano trascorse almeno 48 ore dall’ultima cacca neonato.
Alla nascita tutti i neonati emettono meconio. Tale emissione viene persino annotata nella cartella clinica dei piccoli. Sul meconio viene effettuato lo screening per la fibrosi cistica. Se quando torniamo a casa dall’ospedale il neonato non fa la cacca dobbiamo quindi almeno esclude tutte le problematiche a livello fisico e anatomico.
A casa le funzioni intestinali del nostro bambino possono essere influenzate dai numerosi cambiamenti. Il piccolo deve, inoltre, ancora apprendere il funzionamento dei propri meccanismi fisiologici.
Il neonato non fa cacca anche a causa della viscosità delle feci e della scarsa maturità delle fibre nervose che ne regolano il transito.
I neonati allattati al seno di solito hanno maggiori evacuazioni durante la giornata. Alcuni piccoli liberano il loro intestino subito dopo o contemporaneamente alla poppata. Ma anche i diversi latti artificiali sono studiati per garantire la liberazione del tratto intestinale dei neonati.
La stitichezza neonati non è tuttavia un fenomeno troppo raro anche nei bambini allattati al seno.
Cacca neonato
Se il neonato non fa la cacca per un periodo superiore alle 48 ore dobbiamo consultare il pediatra.
Non dobbiamo somministrare alcuna medicina o supposta o clistere senza il parere medico.
Anche tentare con insistenza la stimolazione cacca neonato è sbagliato. Stimolando il piccolo potremmo fargli male o inibirlo maggiormente peggiorando la situazione.
La cacca neonato è comunque un indicatore del suo stato di salute.
Il colore cacca neonato può indicare una scorretta alimentazione del bambino o della mamma che lo allatta. Un’alterazione anomala del colore può essere anche il sintomo di una patologia o di un virus.
Abbiamo già parlato della cacca verde neonato, che può rappresentare, entro certi limiti, una situazione non preoccupante.
Come capire quindi quando e come intervenire? Innanzi tutto dobbiamo valutare lo stato generale di salute di nostro figlio. Verificare che non sia disidratato.
Quello che dobbiamo chiederci è: mangia a sufficienza? Dorme? È nervoso? Piange molto?
Stitichezza rimedi: se allattiamo il piccolo al seno possiamo provare a modificare la nostra alimentazione. Dovremmo preferire cibi sani e leggeri e bere molto. Se prende il latte artificiale, possiamo chiedere al pediatra di consigliarci un latte contro la stitichezza.
Possiamo fare dei leggeri massaggi o fargli fare un po’ di ginnastica per facilitare l’evacuazione. Soprattutto dobbiamo cercare di non trasmettergli troppo preoccupazione.
Forse il nostro piccolo ha solo bisogno di qualche momento in più per adattarsi alla sua nuova vita e capire come fare la cacca.
